First Bento

September 12, 2011 by admin

I recently purchased a bunch of Bento-making tools from Daiso and I’m really excited to use them.  The only problem is trying to learn how a new hobby with such a short amount of time.  So, instead of waiting for when I one day make something amazing (which could take forever) here’s my first attempt.  A smiley face.  One little winky smile on my kid’s “gohan” (rice) thanks to a little “nori” (seaweed) hole-punch I bought.  It took a second and they were thrilled.  I’m so glad my audience is so easily entertained.

That looks so delicious! Bravo Bento-maker. You boys are so lucky. I never did that for my kids.

    Enjoy, boys!

    Thank you-that’s very sweet:)

  3. […] At least it’s better than my first attempt. […]
