Conjuring Beach

June 1, 2012 by admin

I love my city but there’s been some sadness and terror in Seattle these past few days and the whole city feels a little grey.  Even the sky is crying. I’ve been sporting my rainbow shirt and dreaming of happy beach times but it feels like this gloom might last a while.  This photo is a California Beach but it could be anywhere and I wish I could bring the carefree spirit of this moment back to Seattle right now.  ( No guns. No fear.  No sorrow. Just water, sun, smiles and a whole lot of sand.)

(PS. This post is part of Photo-Friday on Deliciousbaby and I’m so glad there will be a lot of Seattle love on this site this week.)

Smiles and love to you. 🙂

  2. So much sadness in the news sometimes that it can be hard to bear. We’re thinking of all our friends in Seattle and hoping that happier times are right around the corner. 🙂

  3. Steve says:

The beach looks so peaceful and carefree, and Seattle will be again soon enough. Sending best wishes your way.
