Steveston Eco Tours and Valdes (Steveston, British Columbia)

July 27, 2012 by admin

This heavenly bit of wonderful can be a day-trip from Steveston, BC and it’s so serene and peaceful it can feel like days.  We went with Captain Bruce from Steveston EcoTours to Valdes Island in the BC Gulf Islands about a month ago for a family trip when the weather was still a little cool.  To us, he’s PapaRoo, Uncle Roo’s dad, so it was neat to see him in his “Captain Bruce” role.  Along the way he pointed out a lot of marine life: we saw seals and eagles and he told us stories about Valdes Island. I’m so lucky that my guys get to learn so much about nature from him and Uncle Roo and I loved watching my proud little explorers adventure around the island.  We all had an amazing time and the boys keep asking when we’re going back!

(PS. this is my submission for Deliciousbaby’s PhotoFriday Linkup where you can dream over other people’s travels and figure out where you want to adventure next!)
