Spotting Frogs

Rainy mornings are going to be a little more fun now that I’ve found our umbrellas.

(And this is probably the only time they’re going to be greener than the grass in our neighborhood.)

Frogs are very dear in our house and one of our favorite adventures this summer was looking for frogs in Costa Rica.  I’m still trying to find all my pics but here are a couple I snapped on my phone at the Ranario (Frog Pond) in Monteverde.  This place was a really good starting place to learn about all the frogs we were going to see on our Costa Rica adventures and our ticket let us go back at night time to see all the frogs when they are supposed to be most active.  (Most frogs are nocturnal.) We also did our zip-lining here and it was amazing!

But if you are still warding off rain my sweet friend Jamie just posted about one of our more sunnier summer adventures here.  She has a great blog and I’m so thankful she introduced me to the Evergreen State Fair and helped me be brave while our kids climbed the million stairs to the Big Big Slide.  I’m looking forward to going back next year already.
