February IS a short month, but this past one flew by in a whirlwind. We’ve settled down a little bit, but I’m gearing up for my parents’ big 60th party and I’m busy crafting (yes, CRAFTING!) and getting all the stuff ready so we’re not going anywhere for the next little while. So here are the travel highlights from last month:
The Bean catching a cloud on our way back from Haleakala National Park.
The boys checking out the (free!) amazing learning booths at the Richmond Nature Park in British Columbia.
My cute friend pointing out a cocoa pod for me at the Vancouver Aquarium. (You know how we love chocolate!) And Leelee helping her little spot some fish in the Amazon exhibit.
The boys reading at Kidsbooks near UBC in Vancouver. This is definitely my favorite (or favOURite) kids’ bookstore in the world.
My boys chasing their dog-cousin through Pacific Spirit Park. I can’t believe I’ve never set foot in this forest before. (I think before I had boys I had years of outside aversion and preferred shopping malls.)
We also did not get wet in the fountains in a new complex near my Alma-Mater (UBC) and FYI the sushi place in the background is actually pretty yummy! (I like their bento boxes and they’re under 10 bucks and they even have vegetarian!)
The new toll bridge beside the old Port Mann bridge in British Columbia. I have gone over that old orange bridge so many times by accident-I’m going to miss it when it gets torn down.
And we donned our life jackets and road a boat at the Children’s Museum a little closer to home.
Happy Friday and hope your March is full of adventure!
