Family Circle and Ikea are bringing a neat event to Ikea Seattle (in Renton) on Saturday March 9th at 1pm and it sounds pretty cool. You know how I can’t walk into Ikea without coming out with a truckload of stuff; I like that this visit might actually give me purpose. Designer Dad Stephen Saint-Onge is presenting a free Life Improvement Seminar about how to refresh and update your kitchen and I’ve spent so much time in my kitchen these past few years with the guys that I’d really love to know how to do this-especially if it doesn’t require getting a whole new kitchen. I checked out this video about his IKEA living room updating from another seminar and I love the pop of green he added with a few little plants and some apples and I’m actually going to try and update my living room with some new pillows. I’m curious if he’ll talk about neat storage options, because I always love an excuse to buy cool storage containers and I already have this awesome bag storage thing from Ikea so I know I’ll be a little proud if he talks about that too. Anyways, it sounds like there will be giveaways and it is all happening during this IKEA BYOF (Bring your own Friend) event so you might want to check it out.
(PS. this is a sponsored post but these ideas are mine. You know I love IKEA and any excuse to buy storage containers. Don’t we all?)
