Right now my wardrobe is in desperate need of update. I’ve been seeing all sorts of new cool fall wear and the chilly weather is making me feel blah about my wardrobe. I heard about this event at downtown Macys this Saturday November 2nd at 1pm called “Girls Night out with Clinton Kelly” and I totally wish I was going with my friends. When I watched more t.v. I used to love “What Not to Wear” and although I’d never want to be on the show, I totally love the tips and I’d love some to hear what I can keep from my closet and what I can add for this fall.
Saturday’s event will be more like a Girl’s Day Out because it’s in the afternoon but I heard that there will be bites from Tom Douglas (The hubby and I just went to his Palace Kitchen the other night and it was so delish!) and so the food will be good and FREE! There may also be a Gene Juarez Braid bar and if you purchase 100 dollars or more from women’s clothing or Estee Lauder you can get your picture taken with Clinton Kelly too!
I’ll definitely try out the #helpmeclinton hashtag when I brave up the courage to hear what he has to say about my fashion questions because apparently if you use this in your favorite social media format, either Clinton or his team of experts will get back to you with style tips and advice. If it actually works I think it’s like having Superman’s personal number or something. (You can use it whether or not you go to the event too.)
Anyways, if you do go let me know how fabulous it was. I’d love to hear.
(PS. I couldn’t find a link on Macys’ website but If you know you’re going to go, you might want to sign up here to RSVP just in case there’s a long line and you want something official looking in your hand but know that an RSVP doesn’t guarantee a seat either. If it were me, I’d go early and check things out and shop a little while I waited.)
