Alaska Airplane

June 24, 2011 by admin

Today I built this myself.

I even picked it up with the boys this morning at a cool store on Capitol Hill called NubeGreen. We made stops at Elliott Bay Book Company and the Oddfellows Cafe along the way, but those were a blur of energy so no pictures of the fun.  This building is supposed to be a spaceship, but if you ask the boys it’s an Alaska Airplane.  Specifically one that goes to Disneyland.

Already they’ve filled it up too full of baggage to actually take off.

I’m not sure if I’ll be able to fit it in the playroom now that it’s built.  Thank goodness it fits in with the color scheme.

At least it’s kept them occupied all afternoon.  These days, this is a very good thing.

I like the last picture-notice the way his finger is stuck in the little hole in the door to keep the door open.

    How brilliant!
