Wordless Wednesday: Active Octopus at the Seattle Aquarium

Spread the love

Some days the world just seems a whole lot more wonderful.  I could watch the octopus at the Seattle Aquarium all day.  It’s probably the most active one we’ve ever seen and we love to check out the octopus tank when we come to the aquarium to visit our undersea friends.  The kids also love the touch pool area and they love to go to the outside area to see the seals and puffins.  Seattle’s aquarium is not the biggest or fanciest aquarium you’ll ever visit but it has a lot of species that are local to our area and there are many opportunities for kids to interact and learn about the animals. They do this in a really kind and thoughtful way as well.  I think this aquarium has helped my kids’ appreciation for their environment a lot over the years.  And I love that we could just sit and watch the octopus here for a while and be amazed by nature and life.

    1. Ooooh thank you! I didn’t really like octopuses (octopi?) much until the Seattle Aquarium. It’s kind of like me and birds.
