52 weeks of Pike Place Market Eating

52 weeks of eating at Pike Place Market
Spread the love

Everyone who visits Seattle knows about Pike Place Market.  It’s one of our city’s most bustling and popular tourist attractions but it also does so much good for the people in our community.  There is a Food Bank, a Senior’s Center, a Preschool and a Health Clinic that are all part of this market and every week I volunteer there and it’s been a great way to do something good while hanging out in one of my favorite places in the world.  Over the past year and a half I’ve ventured to places in the market’s depths I would have otherwise not have explored and it is incredible at how vast and wonderful this Pike Place Market is.  I’m always finding something new that I haven’t seen or eaten before and I’m so excited that we have this in Seattle.

When an old friend commented on a food picture I took while I was eating lunch alone at the end of 2015 and asked to come with me for lunch, I realized that it might be fun to try and eat at ALL the restaurants and eateries in Pike Place Market in 2016, or at least a new one every week either with friends or solo, and see what kind of yummy adventures we can have.

So in the next 52 weeks, I’ll try to post my finds on Thursdays and I will list them under here as I go. And if you’ve been to Pike Place Market, do you have a favorite place to eat?  I’d love to hear about it!

  1. I don’t work far from the Pike Place Market and I really need to venture down there more often. I forget how good the food is there. Looking forward to following your adventure.

    1. Thanks for stopping by! There is a lot of good food in the market and it’s so festive with all the daffodils right now too!
