This post featuring women’s running shoes is sponsored by adidas. All opinions are my own.
I used to do a lot of running when my kids were small and now that I have a bit more time and I’m working on getting more healthy again, I’m gradually easing back into it. I’m starting out by walking around our neighborhood and I try to do at least 30 minutes a day. If I feel up to it I do 3 minutes of walking and 1 minute of running and gradually increase my running time. You can tell if I’m walking in the neighborhood when you see lots of flower photos on my instagram feed. And this means I’ve also been shopping a lot for women’s running shoes too.
I recently ordered a new pair of adidas Kaptir Flow Shoes and I’m really excited to try them out on my next walk/run. I saw them online and they looked really comfortable. I like shoes that have a bit of cushion and they are made of partly recycled material which seems like a good thing as well. I have been more interested in adidas since my son and I went to Germany and shopped the adidas store in Frankfurt. This is where he picked up a soccer jersey and I was tempted to get one too. At home I often shop adidas through its website and I noticed they have a lot of cool women’s running shoes. So if I keep up my efforts at running I’m going to reward myself with more shoes later this summer.
My son has a pair of soccer cleats from adidas that he loves and I noticed there was a sale on cleats on the the site after looking for running shoes for me I’m not sure if it will still be on when you read this but there are often sales on the adidas site so it’s good to keep checking if there is something you have your eye on. I also put a pair of pants with the iconic striped logo in my online shopping bag too.
And I just found out that adidas has a running app that helps you earn points for the Adiclub on the adidas website. Every mile is 2 points added to my account and you can use the points to get discounts or enter contests. I love things like this. I might never win but it’s fun to dream about some of the prizes they have in these contests too and sometimes I’ve saved up my points and have earned up to 25% off my purchases too.
Are you into walking or running? And are you also looking for women’s running shoes?
