I have a hunch that you’re definitely one person out there reading my daily gushings and rants, and I hope you’ve had a lovely day today. I’m thankful for all the wonderful memories I have growing up, but my fondest are of you reading to me. I think of them often-especially as I sit beside my two little guys who are bouncing up and down asking me “why, why, why?” and interrupting every five seconds making me want to pull my hair out. I imagine I was either a brilliantly quiet and well-behaved child, or you had the patience of a rock. I hope I can help my guys love books as much as I do because of you. (Writing skills though, I think they’re going to inherit from mom.)
Love. Love. Love.
I am reading and watching the little guys grow – It has been a long time since you were that age! Both your mother and you write extremely well so I have great hopes that the boys will pick up the pen / tablet soon and start writing to me!
Sending you some ‘toe-writing’ soon-thanks for reading dad;)
Lovely! How wonderful and lucky for you to have a dad – and clearly a great one at that. 🙂
That’s funny. I remember your mom toe-writing. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
🙂
