So dare I say REI is growing on me? This is the hubby’s favorite store in all of Seattle. It’s probably the only catalog he hasn’t used paper karma (an amazing app that gets rid of junk mail!!) on and if he could go daily, he probably would. And ever since they had a members’ night like the one Nordstroms throws at Christmas, I can’t help but love them too despite their desire to sell so many yucky outdoorsy things.
The other day the hubby went to check out skis and we tagged along too. And outside the store we found the most amazing photo booth.
I’m not sure how long it’s going to be there but we had a great time even before we went in the store and we didn’t even have to work up a sweat for this sweet action shot.
It doesn’t hurt that our favorite coffee shop is right next door. If you’re in the area don’t forget to stop by Espresso vivace across the street.
They have delicious coffee, beautiful latte art and a cute little kids’ corner too.
With coffee and a fun place for an adventure photo, this is my favorite type of outdoorsy activity and we didn’t even have to leave the city.
