It’s a good day when the hubby calls in a sandwich order and we find a perfect spot right out front of Paseo, a little Caribbean sandwich shop in Fremont, famous for roast pork sandwiches.
If something ever happened to me, I know he could live off the Tofu Delight sandwich and survive happily for the rest of his life. I prefer something lighter and usually get the Paseo Greens (because I love the pickled beets) with grilled chicken. It’s still a little spicy for our little guys (it’s not very spicy!) and there aren’t many chairs inside so we take out and eat at home with supplemental grilled cheese, etc., for them. They’ll learn to appreciate this yummy food with time. (And with the hubby’s obsession, I guess they’re going to have to.)
PS. they have a Ballard location too.
I read that they were voted the 2nd best cuban sandwich in the US, including Miami. Been meaning to try it:)
Seriously, even beating Miami?? We do have some yummy food in Seattle and yes, you need to try it:)
we LOVE paseo!! it’s right up there with marination on our Seattle quick & cheap list 🙂
Oh hvk you need to come back to Seattle:) Let us know when you’re up for a visit!
Mmmm…it was so good.
of course it was;)
Love Paseo! We especially love to ride out to the Ballard location via the Burke-Gilman.
Oh that’s a good idea:) We’re just starting to do the ride-the-bike thing with the guys, but I don’t have a bike yet.
