Food is so much a part of our day that I almost take it for granted but it definitely drives my day plans, my travels, and my life. Even my family lives for food. We care about how it grows and gets created. We care about learning about how it gets from its source to our plate. And my sons and I love to plan out meals and learn to cook together. So I was really curios about what the International Food Blogger Conference in Seattle Washington would be like.
The biggest reason I’m excited to attend the IFBC is bececause it’s in Seattle. It’s been in Seattle a few times before and this year it worked out for me to go.
I can’t wait to see some foodie friends like Tanya from Hashtag Eat and Amanda from Amanda’s Plate and hear what they’re making and eating lately. Both of them have phenomenal instagram accounts too! I’m excited to meet some new faces as well. I love the food blogging world and I think we can learn so much from each other.
I’m also excited to tour Chef’n tomorrow as part of the conference. I never realized they’re based in Seattle and I’ve seen their products all over the world.
So I’ll definitely let you know how it goes! Any chance I’ll see you there?
Terumi Pong is a Seattle-based family travel writer and mom of twin teenage boys. She loves coffee and pastries, shopping local and looking for greener ways to live. She is also known as Scout’s mom (Scout is a 5ish pound little black yorkie-poo)
So jealous! I wish I was going! I hope you will post your experience!
Exciting! I went to my first blogger conference last year in Queensland (australia) and next month I’ll be heading to my first food blogger conference! You will have a fab time. My advice: wear flats, take biz cards, a pen and notepad, and get ready to meet a zillion fab people 🙂
