Have you checked out Minted lately? I was in Target recently and noticed a new wall display with gorgeous cards by Minted artists. I’ve always loved their attention to design and I’ve ordered some really beautiful printed things from Minted over the years. What I didn’t realize is that Minted now has a lot of gifts now on their site and I’m picking out a bunch today.
TSHIRTS
Because I spent some time with my niece and nephew on Vancouver Island looking for deer this summer, I saw this baby deer shirt and I thought it would make such a great gift. I wish there was one in a grown-up size so I could get it for my sister too. The grown-up shirts are also cute and I really like the San Francisco Toile pattern. (I noticed other cities too so these are great gifts for people who like to travel!) There is also a shark pattern my guys are totally going to love.
PLAY TENTS and CHAIRS
Even though my own boys are a little too old for them I can’t help but let you know about the playtents.There are many beautiful designs-these would have been so gorgeous in a corner of a playroom with pillows to cuddle up and read. Minted also sells pillows and blankets so you could furnish a whole area in a similar pattern or aesthetic if you really wanted to. The triangle chair may still find itself on its way to our cabin. I love comfy chairs like this and the puffy chairs we bought for the kids when they were babies are still part of our playspace now that the kids are nine years old. Well-made comfy furniture is definitely a great investment.
NAPKINS
I’m also debating whether to get the cocktail napkins or the regular sized ones. My mom has dinner parties all the time and I think there are some patterns that would look so lovely on her table. Napkins also make great hostess gifts. I like the cocktail size for drinks because they’re easy to wash and look a lot nicer than just using paper. The cozy cabin and frozen pond prints are some of my favorite designs.
POTHOLDERS, MITTENS and PLACEMATS
Minted’s potholders are so beautiful and they are such an important part of the kitchen. I leave my potholders out on the counter too often so it’s really important that we have nice ones in our house. I also love gifting fancy potholders because they are something people don’t usually buy for themselves. I noticed a baby deer print I could gift that to my sister with the shirts for the kids. I also love the tiny triangle designs. I almost missed the placemats and there are so many designs to choose from. The round reverisible placemats seems really photogenic and I love their unique patterns.
