Living with less stuff in 2019 so I can have more time
Thanks to a certain book and cleaning show we are figuring out that there are many things in our house we don’t really need or use and the clutter that we create by keeping these things around is not necessary. We are working on cleaning out our cupboards, our closets, and our garage and getting rid of all the things that we’ve been hoarding a little too long. Do we really need all this stuff? Or maybe do we have stuff laying around that other people might actually love and use? Letting go of a lot of our clutter together has somehow given us more time to hang out more as a family and it’s nice how living with less is actually more beneficial to so many aspects of our lives. It’s also freeing up all the time we need to manage all this stuff and it’s cool how living with less is giving us much more time.
Eating out less means eating home more
Breakfast or brunch is one of the easiest meals to eat at home and it makes the day so much more relaxing when my family can savor breakfast together-even before school. Yogurt is a staple in our house and we’ve been enjoying the FAGE Total Split cups with 30% less sugar. I love the taste of these yogurts-they are rich and creamy and we especially love the strawberry and peach flavors. And even though the label says 30% less sugar, this less is such a more thing too-I’m so thankful that FAGE is helping me with more health with a satisfying, all natural (no artificial sweeteners) and protein-rich snack. The split cup is cool because I can also control how much fruit topping goes into my yogurt too. And even when we’re on the go and I don’t have time to sit down with the kids for breakfast (like on piano lesson mornings!) I can grab a yogurt and take it with me for a healthy breakfast with my coffee while they plunk away on the keys. I love how FAGE split cups with 30% less sugar can help me with this year’s motto of less being definitely more.
Making the most of our weekends even when we have less time
Do you know that the weekend is about 30% of a week? With all the scheduling we do on the daily I am trying to keep our weekends as free as possible for 2019 and 30% less scheduled time in our weeks feels absolutely heavenly. My active guys will still play soccer but we’re going to replace baseball with tennis during the week so we no longer need to worry about so many weekend games. This leaves more time for weekend getaways and just being able to lounge around in our own house in our pjs-we need time to relax and read and spend some more peaceful times with ourselves. The kids and I are also thinking that we might be able to start running together too with the time we free up. We don’t plan on huge runs, but just getting outside and doing something like this together will be a lot of fun.
We’ve started off well and I’m hoping that this less is more attitude is something I can continue throughout the year. Are you working on focusing on doing less and living more in 2019? And if you are looking for FAGE split cups with 30% less sugar you can find them in a store near you too.
