Things to do in Seattle in August
Spread the love

I blinked and July is over, so I need to make sure I look ahead for next month. We usually create a bucket list, but haven’t in the past couple years-time has become a blur. So here are a few things I know we’re going to do in August in Seattle. This is not an extensive list of all the things to do in Seattle in this month, it’s just things that interest me and my family and maybe you too.

Bark at the Park with the Mariners on August 9th

I know the Sounders had a pup day but I didn’t know that the Mariners did too. So in August there is a Bark at the Park game on August 9th where pups can come along-you need special tickets and you need to sign a waiver first and there are other rules so make sure you read all the details and you can find all the info in the link on the MLB Mariners site. Do you think I should take Scout to his first baseball game?

Chinatown-ID Block Party August 26

This family-friendly festival on King Street between 8th and 10th avenue will happen August 26th and it’s free. Looking forward to good food, music and the usual festival fun. It feels so good to have events like this happening in our city again.

August is also perfect for a Skagit Valley Farm stand tour

Feel free to message if I’m missing some ‘can’t miss’ things to do in August in Seattle on this list and if you are looking ahead to September here are things to do in that month too. Also, here is where you might find ideas of what to do in Seattle today if you need more things to do too.

No this isn’t in Seattle but it’s not too far away, and maybe you’re adventuring up north to Vancouver. We keep a cooler in our car just in case we spot a farm stand. I have a loop we did from Seattle to a handful of fun Skagit Valley Farm Stands and we were home in time to make dinner with the ingredients we found.
