Hello June, once again you snuck up on us. And while Seattle schools get out mid-month ish, ready or not World Cup is on its way and it truly doesn’t feel real yet. There are definitely a lot of things to do in June in Seattle-like have you been somewhere to get pictures with lupines? Have you biked to Bainbridge? Have you been to the Overlook Walk? Also make sure you check out my list of affiliate programs and deals if you are shopping, this helps support my blog and also might save you some money too.
Here are the few big events I’m looking forward to around Seattle this month:
FIFA WORLD CUP 2026
FIFA World Cup 2026: If you’re a soccer fan I wouldn’t miss out on this one. Little by little we’re learning about where there will be watch parties in the city and so far I have a list of official watch parties as well as the scoop on Seattle Soccer House. I missed out on getting tickets-were you luckier? But also I just found out I made the cut to be a volunteer so I am still excited to be part of all the excitement.
It’s Farmer’s Market Season!
The Seattle South Lake Union Farmer’s Market opened in a new location and it’s perfect. This market runs through November 21st unless it gets extended to a year round market.
Reserved Parking at Seattle-International Airport
Now is the time when parking starts getting frenzied at SEA and having a guaranteed spot can help alleviate some of that travel stress. I tried reserved parking recently and you can read more about it and check if my coupon code still works for 10% off reserved parking at SEA here too
Fremont Solstice Parade and festival (June 20/21 weekend 2026)
The Fremont Solstice Parade takes place on June 20th at 1pm starting at 3rd and Leary way and the festival will happen all weekend long. I still remember the first time we went to the Solstice Parade and it definitely feels like a Seattle event. Make sure you read about it before you go.
Seattle Pridefest weekend (June 27/28 2026)
This is one of the best weekends in our city. You can find more details about Seattle Pridefest 2026 here.
The Play that Goes Wrong at Seattle Rep through June 28th
The Play That Goes Wrong is so funny and the set is absolutely wild!

Berry picking in Seattle
June is when berry picking starts up in our area and I recently compiled a list of recommendations for strawberry fields near Seattle. Keep an eye out for Duris Farms which has the closest strawberries. Remlinger Farms is a fun theme park for the 8 and under set with a “big” little roller coaster to get them prepared for places like Disneyland. We love fresh berries with Dutch babies and I have my go-to recipe linked in this post.
Seabrook Pride Festival June 6
Have you ever been to Seabrook? It’s only a couple hours from Seattle and we love this little town for its beach, biking, pickleball, cute house rentals and adorable shops. On June 6th Seabrook is hosting their Pride Celebration and this would be so fun if you’re in the area that weekend.
National Rose Day June 13th at University Village
Local beloved brands Trophy Cupcakes x Gigi’s Garden by Browne Family Vineyards, will partner at Trophy Cupcakes University Village location 1-4 pm on June 13th and feature free rosé tastings and handcrafted macarons infused with Gigi’s Garden Rosé and these macarons are gorgeous! The event will also offer a free macaron with the purchase of a bottle of wine, plus 20% off of bottles of Gigi’s Garden with the purchase of 6-pack of Trophy macarons.
Leavenworth Adventure Park
We finally got a chance to go to Leavenworth last summer-it’s just been so hard to plan a trip there because it’s so close to home we’ve taken it for granted but also it’s so worth it. Leavenworth recently opened its adventure park with an alpine coaster-you can see it in my carousel here (I wasn’t going to do it but then I didn’t want to miss out and I had a really fun time). These tiny homes might be a good place to book nearby if you’re headed to the area and Sleeping Lady is a dreamy place to stay too.
Free things in Seattle in summer
I have a list of free things in our city that happen in the summer. Things like Free First Thursday for museums happen on the first Thursday in June. There is also a free waterfront shuttle that will take you around the city and this runs through the summer.
Visit the Seattle Airport without a ticket
Do you have family coming in for the summer? You can apply to send them off behind security with the SEA visitor Pass (when I last did it the application had to be done by the day before my visit and there is about an 8 day window to apply but you might be able to do the day of now too). You can find more details in this post. The new Chilis in Concourse Sea might also open in June and be a reason you might want to get a Sea Visitor Pass too!

Do you know of any more June Seattle things?
These are only a few of things that are happening in Seattle in June-I try to keep the list short and sweet so it’s not too overwhelming. But if you have something fabulous to add to my Things to do in Seattle in June list, please let me know! And I hope you are enjoying our fabulous Seattle weather! Also, if it’s getting close to next month, here are ideas for things to do in Seattle in July.
(PS If you are looking to travel from our area this summer, here are some of the direct flights from Seattle. Here are also the 3 cheapest flight destinations from Seattle in the summer for 2024. It’s also a great time to visit Vancouver.
