If you are searching for a unique cinnamon bun shop near Seattle, you might find Seattle Cinnamon Roll. And it’s not actually in Seattle, it’s about 30-40 minutes north of the city. But before you give up and try looking for another place, make a plan to go to Woodinville to the Seattle Cinnamon Roll Shop because it’s unlike any other cinnamon roll stores you’ll find- it’s the only one I’ve ever heard of that you actually drive through to get your treats.

Remember Seattle Cinnamon Roll is in Woodinville not Seattle but it is a drive through so it’s easy to bring your pup along

I’ve entered the stage in life where my life revolves around dropping my kids off at one lesson or another and then I usually have anywhere from 30-60 minutes all by myself to explore an area too far to go back home. The hubby and I found ourselves in Woodinville one morning after taxiing the kids to a soccer field and we made it to the Seattle Cinnamon Roll Shop a little after it opened. There were probably 6 cars ahead of us in line. I couldn’t really see the menu from where I sat in the car so I looked it up online.

There are SO many different toppings for your Cinnamon Roll at this place

There are lots of topping to choose from at the Seattle Cinnamon Roll. We went with a regular one with frosting and one with apple and one with sticky pecans. Our adventure took under 20 minutes to get our cinnamon buns and we didn’t even have to get out of the car. We didn’t get coffee here because I had my eye on a coffee shop right near the soccer field that looked pretty perfect too.

Cafe Dupar is a relatively new cafe near Seattle Cinnamon Roll and right next to Woodinville Sports Fields where your kids might have a soccer game

Cafe Dupar is right next to the Woodinville Sports Fields so I now wish we played ALL our soccer games here. They have cinnamon buns sometimes and Nanaimo bars and incredible croissant type pastries. They also have good coffee and we got ours to go as well as a few pastries for the next day because we already had bought our cinnamon rolls but couldn’t leave without buying some too. I didn’t realize the filling on some of the croissants probably needs refrigeration and we left them out overnight so we only tried the pain au chocolat and it was divine, . Based on my bake shop expertise, I am very certain the other croissants will be delicious too. I guess we’ll just have to come back for research sake.

(Also, if you want to make your own homemade cinnamon buns, I have been making this recipe for the “best cinnamon buns in the world” the past two years and it’s pretty easy to make-the only tough to get ingredient nowadays is probably the instant yeast even though when I first made this recipe in 2020 we could barely get flour and toilet paper in our grocery stores and I never ever want to forget that this happened.)
