It’s usually a good sign when someone already making a successful food product goes on to try their hand at something in the same realm. We’ve tried Halo Top Ice Cream in the past and enjoyed it, and as someone who really loves chocolate, I was interested in trying GATSBY Chocolate, a low calorie chocolate by the same creator to see what it would be like.
I tried the GATSBY Almond Dark Chocolate, the Sea Salt Extra Dark Chocolate and the Peanut Butter Cups. My favorite of the three was the Almond Dark Chocolate. The chocolate tasted creamy and sweeter than I was expecting but not too sweet and it went well with my coffee. Reading the ingredients on the back of the packaging, I learned that Allulose is the sweetener used in this product. A 2.8 oz bar of the Almond Dark Chocolate has 3 servings per bar and each serving has 3G net carb and 70 calories per serving (about 3 1/3 pieces of the 10 in the bar). I thought this might be a product of interest for someone looking for low calorie or low sugar chocolate products.
GATSBY Chocolate Bars are available to purchase at Kroger, Ralphs, Mariano’s, Fred Meyer, Dillons, Smith’s, Fry’s, QFC, and City Market. To find a store near you, visit gatsbychocolate.com/pages/store-locator. And if you really love the product you can join the GATSBY’s Cash Club where you can get a personal discount code that you can share and earn $25 per new purchaser referred on their website where you can also buy GATSBY Chocolate Bars online. You can learn more about GATSBY’s Cash Club here as well as find the terms and conditions to this program here too.
