We are currently wishing for snow in the mountains and it looks like our local mountains could get a giant snow refresh in the 2nd week of March if we just wish hard enough. March in Seattle feels like it’s when our city starts to collectively wake up from our winter nap. We get friendlier. The blossoms are out. I’m seeing all the where to find blossoms in Seattle post and it’s not that hard to find them. Just walk around any neighborhood or wake up earlier than you want to in the morning so you can get a parking spot at UW. And we have high school soccer again (one of my guys plays for the Ballard High School team).
SO what to do in Seattle in March?
Women Supporting Women at Uvillage March 6, 2026
This is the 4th annual celebration of Women supporting Women at Uvillage for International Women’s Day. There will be women led pop-ups, giveaways and discounts throughout the event. You can find more information here.
The Notebook the Musical at Paramount Theatre March 2-March 8th 2026
I went for media night and it was so beautifully done. You can find my review of the Notebook the Musical in Seattle here. It’s in Seattle through March 8, 2026.
Irish Festival at Seattle Center March 14 and 15th 2026
We went to Ireland for 5 days during Thanksgiving a few years ago and completely fell in love so the Irish Festival at Seattle Center is on our radar too. Dublin is also one of many places you can get to with a direct flight from Seattle.
Macaron Day in Seattle March 20
Not Macaroon Day but Macaron Day at Le Panier in Pike Place Market It happens every year and it looks like it’s happening in 2026 too and that’s reason enough to celebrate and join in.

Cherry Blossoms in the City
Keep an eye on the UW blog for news about the cherry blossoms: last year they started about a week before the April 1st blog came out. Bakery Nouveau has a sakura cake on its menu and I’ll definitely be looking out for cherry blossom themed foods around the city this year.
If you have any tips or events that you think I should include for March or beyond please let me know. I ry to curate a few events that I know I’ll be attending or that I wish I could go to-we all only have so much time.
And if you are looking for things to do next month, you can check out my Things to do in April in Seattle here too. We recently went to Vancouver BC and stayed at the Syliva Hotel. It’s a great family-friendly place in the city.
