Happy April in Seattle! Here are a few things on my radar for this month and little by little I’ll start to add more:

First Thursday in Pioneer Square April 2 2026

We went to a First Thursday in Pioneer Square last year and it was delightful. You can find out more about this month’sfirst Thursday art walk here.

Seattle Restaurant Week April 19-May 2 2026

I used to spend so much time looking at the menus for Seattle Restaurant Week trying to get to as many as I could, these days with soccer, we can probably only get to maybe one, so I’m looking forward to seeing what popular restaurants and meals show up in my instagram feed. I just saw Mr. Fish’s Restaurant Week offering and it looks pretty delicious.

Bark in the Park night at the Mariners night April 20, 2026

We have not yet been to a Bark at the Park night, (have you ever been) but there is one in April we might try to bring Scout to. Have you ever been to Bark at the Park? I also found a Hello Kitty game on May 15th with a clear bag promo for the first 20000 guests. It’s not one that needs a special ticket. I’ve included it in my Mother’s Day 2026 list.

If you have kids in Public schools here is a free webinar you might want to attend on April 8 with Chef Ann foundation.

A new C concourse and Chili’s at SEA

If you are starting to get excited about the new C concourse at SEA it should open soon. I know there are a lot of people excited about Chili’s coming to our airport, and you can find out more about this and how to get an airport day pass here.

And a little north of Seattle the Tulip Festival is happening all throughout April too

You can find out all about the Skagit Valley tulip festival here and we went to a few the other day (one with the cutest cows!) and they were spectacular. I was really excited to hear that Tulip Town was letting dogs visit the fields last year. We travel through the area on the way to Vancouver BC all the time so being able to bring Scout makes it so much easier for us to make a visit to see tulips part of our travels. We recently stopped at Skagit Valley Co-op for sandwiches and that will definitely be a repeat stop when we’re in the area.

Les Miserables with Broadway on tour until April 19th

Les Miserables is touring in our city until Sunday April 19th and you can read more about les Miserables in Seattle here and we had a great time watching it on opening night.

Seattle Independent bookstore day April 25-May 4 2026

You can read all about Seattle Independent Bookstore day here and it’s a little longer than a day because there are 33 bookstores participating but you pick your passport up at one of the participating businesses on April 25th. Have you ever participated or completed this? I’d love to hear! And even though you must complete the passport to be considered a champion, if you complete five or more you can still be eligible for a single-use 25% coupon at any of the stores by turning in your passport to the last store you visit before May 4th.

And if you know of more things to do in Seattle in April?

If you know of other events in the city that you think I might want to know about too, feel free to send info my way through my instagram or through my About me page. And yes, there are a ton of events in our city every month but I try to narrow it down to just a few so we don’t all feel too stressed. And if you are looking ahead to next month, here are things to do in Seattle in May.

If you are traveling and thinking of places to go from Seattle, I have some direct flight ideas from Seattle we just visited a cool resort in Nashville and that has a direct flight from here too. Also, I’m trying out a new pair of travel shoes.
