How much do we all love summer season in the PNW? So far this year has been glorious. And summer is when it’s such a good time to be in Skagit Valley Washington where so much of our local food is grown. For the past few summers I’ve been partnering with Genuine Skagit Valley to share information about Skagit Valley farms and there is a summer 2026 Farmstand Fresh coupon you are definitely going to want to use if you’re headed to the area. All about the 2026 Farmstand Fresh Coupon with Genuine Skagit Valley
For 2026 the Farmstand Fresh program has a $10 off $30 coupon you can use once a month at 18 farmstands on their website for the summer. One thing I always forget when I head to farm stands is to bring cash with me. Most of the farms now can do Venmo or credit card but some still only take cash. Also, it is really important to check the opening hours of the farm stands on their websites or social media because they can have unpredictable hours (like any other small business and it’s amazing how we have resources now to be able to check before we go)
On my instagram you can see where I recently used the coupon at Boldly Grown Farm. Boldly Grown Farm is probably the most high tech farmstand in the area where you can scan barcodes on your items and pay with credit card and | love visiting throughout the year (it’s one of the few open year round). The owners of this farm are first generation farmers doing amazing things in the area and they also went to my college (the University of British Columbia.)

Schuh farms: you will likely know Schuh Farms from Seattle farmer’s markets like South Lake Union Farmer’s Market and Magnolia where I’ve often seen their stands. Schuh Farms farm stand is an actual store where you can buy produce, flowers, trinkets and locally made goods. It’s probably the biggest farm stand on the list.
Red Shed Farm is one I visited recently and bought a few gorgeous vegetables and some beautiful zinnia starts. I will try to post these when they bloom. Red Shed Farm is a newer farm stand and you can find its hours and updates often on their instagram.
Blackburn Gardens is perfect if you’re looking for dahlias and other summer blooms and they have a farmstand that usually has a bunch of bouquets available. They also have a u-pick some Thursday evenings throughout the summer (you have to sign up in advance). And I really want to go to their drying shed open house one day!
It’s a fun day trip from the Seattle to visit a handful of these farms and then stop for lunch in Mount Vernon, La Conner or Camano Island. A friend and I recently combined the farm trips with shopping time at the outlets and Costco (where we got gas cheaper than in Seattle and Vancouver BC). We had lunch at Skagit Valley Food Coop and I am a bit fan of their sandwiches and the desserts in the cafe are made in house too (we tried a really fun Neapolitan cake).
