Yes, it still kind of feels like summer and technically it is, but hockey season is starting up in the Pacific Northwest and my family is really excited for the Seattle Kraken 2025/2026 season. We live close to Climate Pledge arena so if we have a free night together we try to get tickets and hang out at a game and it’s a fun way to dine out as a family and also watch a hockey game. I was invited to check out the Climate Pledge arena menu for the upcoming season. Last year, there seemed to be more flashy items on the menu but this year the highlight for me is that there is a $9.99 and under menu that I think will help many fans stretch their dollars more when they come to a game (and maybe allow them to see more games too!)

Highlights from the $9.99 and under menu for Seattle Kraken 2025/2026 Season games
I think the biggest star of this $9.99 and under menu might be the Smoked Turkey Leg that you can get from Mercer Mac N Cheese in Section 24. (I asked on threads and heard a similar item cost over $15 at this year’s Washington State Fair and maybe even closer to $25-30 as part of a combo)

The vegetable fried rice at Dumpling House section 4 for 9.99 looks pretty good too.

There are mozzarella sticks from Sound Pizza in Sections 19 and 217 would make a great shareable

A Royal Ranch Cheese Steak for 9.99 at Hempler’s Market Place Section 224 and seems quite filling
And also you can get an a Fletcher’s All beef hotdog for 8.99 at various places in the stadium and an Impossible Hot Dog for $8.99 at the Impossible Test Kitchen in Section 10.
When the season starts and it gets more soup season-ish I will try the Bristol Bay Salmon Chowder (It’s 9.99 at Bristol Bay in Section 6) and report back.
Other food things you want to know about this 2025/2026 kraken season at Climate Pledge:
You can now find Bell’s Cookies and Piroshky Piroshky at Climate Pledge arena and I love how these local partnerships benefit both the fans at the games and local food businesses.

Impossible test kitchen has a new vegetarian chili and cornbread for $14.99 and I think this would also be a delicious meal for a Seattle fall evening game. (We are big Impossible fans in our family and I love how they innovate to try and help save our planet and make good food)
Molly Demers is the Executive Chef at Climate Pledge Arena and I finally got the nerve to say hello yesterday (I was too nervous last year) and she is absolutely effervescent and so full of joy. I really appreciated that she said “I’m here for the families saving up to come to our arena” in her opening speech to all the media and I think you can really see this reflected in this year’s arena menu and now I can’t wait for this season. Go Kraken!

(PS you can find out more about the Seattle Kraken’s 2025/ 2026 season schedule and all the other things on their NHL website too!)
