Starting today (August 7th) through August 20th (for the first week of performances) August 28th (for the 2nd week of performances)and September 3rd (for the 3rd and final week) you can enter the Golden Snitch Digital Lottery for two tickets to a performance of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child for $40 each.
Broadway at the Paramount and STG announced there will be a minimum of 10 tickets for each performance of the Seattle engagement of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child playing at the Paramount Theatre from August 22nd-September 12th available in the lottery. Each winner is allowed to purchase up to two tickets each. The winner and non-winner notifications will be emailed within one hour of the closing of the lottery at 5:00 p.m. local time the day prior to the desired performance date and then winners will have one hour to claim and pay for the number of tickets included in their winner notification.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the story about what happens when Harry Potter’s son Albus befriends the son of Draco Malfoy and this show is the winner of six Tony awards including Best Play. Also when it comes here in August, this will be the first time this show plays in Seattle. According to the official guide, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is suitable for ages 8 and up.

I haven’t seen this play yet and I’m looking forward to its premiere in Seattle. Apparently this show runs two hours and 55 minutes including an intermission. I will update this post when I get more information and see the play later this summer.
