If you’re headed in or out of Seattle Tacoma Airport (SEA) in the next little while the C Concourse will soon be complete (think late may, early June). This concourse has been under construction for a while now and it is bringing a whole bunch of new retailers and experiences to our local airport (and hopefully in time fo rFIFA World Cup in Seattle.) I was invited to an event at the airport recently with influencers and media where we sampled some of the offerings that will be in the new C concourse when it opens.
Some of these retailers for the SEA C Concourse expansion include:
Bell Street Landing by Hudson: this is a store operated by Hudson with Alki bakery baked goods (we used to buy their espresso chocolate muffins all the time and I haven’t been able to find them lately) and Seattle Made products. We sampled Chukar Cherries and Maeve chocolates too.

Bite Society: this is one place I like to stop by for gifts and treats (and samples) when I go to Pike Place Market so I love that Bite Society will be an airport retailer too. They have really good tasting snacks and very cool packaging so they make for a really great Seattle souvenir. (and as a Seattleite I buy them as a treat for myself too. I think if you’re local I’ve been told you can bring back the tin to the Pike Place market location and get refills for a discount but I haven’t done this yet myself)

Port of Subs: this was one of the delicious bites we sampled at the preview event and it’s nice to have another fresh sandwich option at the airport.
Chilis!: I’ve heard so much hype about Chilis coming to our Seattle airport and I know people are even talking about using the SEA visitor’s pass for a day trip behind security just so they can eat at Chilis for a meal. (It’s pretty amazing that SEA has a visitor’s pass system so you can visit the airport without a flight) We didn’t get to try Chilis at the airport preview but hopefully I’ll have more information about when it’s actually opening to update this page soon.
Other retailers are Olympia Coffee (if you are ever in downtown Seattle the Olympia Coffee location in Cedar Hall is gorgeous), Seattle Macaron Co, Nanny’s BBQ, Wanderlust, Great State Burger and Buffalo Wild Wings GO,
I’m also looking forward to an outdoor area in the C concourse that I got to see being built earlier this year. It will have some glass for security reasons but it will definitely be a place to get fresh air and I can’t wait to see what it will look like when it’s finished. I know Singapore Airport has a garden, Honolulu airport has a lot of open air and I’ve been to another airport with an outdoor lounge, but I don’t know of many other outdoor spaces at airports (and I really wish there were) so I’m definitely thankful our home airport is getting one.

It’s also pretty cool that SEA has all these new offerings upon all the retail and dining offerings they already have at the airport. SEA is one airport where I even try to show up early, not because I need to factor time to get through security but because there are always places I want to go see. Do you know of other airports like this? I’d love to hear!
