Yes, it’s still April (and I’m never this early) but it’s a good time to plan Mother’s Day (it’s on May 10th this year), especially if you’re leaning towards an experience type gift in Seattle. There are many events happening in the area, and I’ll try to keep this curated to the ones that really catch my eye.
A Mom and Me Seattle Day Out
The other day I was at Costco, and spotted the Seattle Space Needle season’s passes. They are good through May 31st 2026 so it won’t really be a season’s pass as a gift for Mother’s Day but if you but if you buy the one at Costco for $79.99 (instead of the online price of $99.99), it might work out for a good deal if you are trying to do a Seattle Staycation day, like a trip to the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass and visit to the Seattle Art Museum in May. (You also get a discount at the Loupe Lounge and 50% tickets for guests to the Space Needle too.) I also have used the Seattle CityPass for Seattle attractions with family members, so I would compare these two and see which is the better deal/fit for what you’re looking for.

Chihuly Garden and Glass also has their Chihuly nights going on from April 17 through May 17 as well as special themed days like a Canvas and Cocktail on May 17th that would make a great gift too.
Mother’s Day Brunch at Home or maybe a reservation somewhere?
I recently tried out Kitchen and Market’s Mother’s Day Brunch. It includes ingredients and instructions for a spring frittata, chia yogurt parfaits, the dreamiest scones, jam and cream, crispy potatoes and a breakfast salad (we ended up saving this for dinner) and the food was ample enough for at least 4 people with leftovers. For every brunch ordered, Kitchen and Market will donate a meal kit for four the patient pantries being used by Fred Hutch patients staying at the Pete Gross House and Behnke Family House which is another lovely part of this gift that mom might love as well. You need to preorder this meal by May 3rd for pick up Mother’s Day weekend. My family really enjoyed this kitchen and market brunch and it was fun to make as well.
Cafe Flora recently announced that its reservations for Mother’s Day just opened and this meal looks dreamy.
Lady M cakes in Bellevue Square has a Mother’s Day menu of cakes as well. I’ve been invited to visit to try them and I’ll let you know what I think of them as soon as I can.
If you think you want to go to Pike Place Market for a meal on Mother’s Day make sure you get your reservations ASAP. Mother’s Day weekend is also Pike Place market’s annual flower festival and seeing as how Pike Place Market has become even more popular since they’ve added the Overlook walk, it will likely be very busy in the market that day.

Woodland Park Zoo also has afternoon tea spots available on Mother’s Day. I haven’t been to this one yet, but it looks like it would be fun. It looks like the Father’s Day brunch at the zoo might already be sold out.
Maybe a Seabrook weekend for mom?
We just came back from a weekend on the coast and it felt quite restful even with a house full of teenagers. I just got an email from the Seabrook mailing list with this code: MOM2026 and it’s for 10% off a Seabrook stay (I’m not sure if it’s good for just Mother’s Day weekend or if it might work for stays farther out-please let me know if you try it and it works out for you!) but also they have a Mother’s Day brunch event with a build your own flower bouquet station that sounds pretty lovely too.
And there’s a secret Hello Kitty Baseball game on May 15th that would be the perfect gift for a Seattle Mom I know
It’s not really secret, but it’s one not highlighted as a Hello Kitty Game and the Hello Kitty giveaway is not guaranteed. On May 15th though the cutest clear Hello Kitty crossbody bag is the giveaway and to the first 20000 fans, and I know a mom that is definitely hoping to be one of those 20000 fans. Maybe she’s a mom you know too?
It’s still early so I’ll update this Seattle Mother’s Day list as I find more things, but thought I’d post it ASAP just in case it helps.

Come to Seabrook! 🙂
I just got an email with a Mother’s Day promo code for Seabrook so I updated the post. Also Seabrook’s Mother’s Day brunch looks amazing too!
