A few weeks ago I was invited to Seatac Airport where Costa Coffee has arrived in the N gate area. Seatac is the first airport in the USA for this UK-based Costa Coffee. And Costa Coffee represents one more new stop for travelers to get excited about at Seattle’s bustling airport. It feels like every time we go to our airport something new is happening and we’re always hoping that more direct flights from Seattle get added so it’s easier to get from our city to places all around the world.
Costa Coffee has a 24/7 barista bot
Costa coffee has a few ways you can order. During its open hours you can order at the counter like any other coffee shop. I tried one of their seasonal drinks and it was not too sweet and tasted pretty good. You can also order at 2 self-order kiosks and pick your drinks up at the counter as well. But the coolest way I saw to order was at the 24/7 machine just beside where you pick up your drink if you ordered at the counter. This is a machine called the Costa Coffee Barista Bot (and when I looked up locations, it looks like there may be some coming to AMC theaters in our area now too-have you been to these theaters and seen one?) I tried using this smart cafe and the latte I had was comparable to lattes at popular coffee chains.
Also, the new American Express Centurion Lounge is open at Seatac now too
It has so much more space than Seattle’s old Centurion lounge and you can really feel it, especially with all the window seats. We really appreciated the variety of food choices and just the comfort of being in an airy, calm space. Places like this can make it so much more enjoyable to fly if the airport is busy and many lounges offer day passes. We are looking forward to coming back-we have access here because we have an Amex Platinum Card.
Have you flown through Seatac Airport recently?
