This post featuring men’s sneakers is sponsored by adidas. All opinions are my own.
Blink and suddenly my babies are teenagers and their feet are way bigger than mine. We have been buying men’s shoes for them for a while now and I don’t remember when this happened but maybe sometime in middle school. (I loved the stage when I would get their outgrown slides). Now my teenagers and husband are within similar sizes and they get to share shoes and ski boots which can be quite handy but they all also have their own individual styles . In the next few months we have some summer trips planned so I asked my twins to each choose a pair of adidas men’s sneakers for our trip and I thought I’d share the shoes they picked.
One of my teens is going to Texas to help race a car he’s been building with his solar car team. His school colors are red, black and white. So when he picked these Samba OG shoes with red details for his trip, I realized why he made his pick and they are perfect. So far they are comfy and they’re such a great shoe for wearing around on a daily basis as well as for traveling because they can go with many outfits. It’s pretty amazing that the Samba OG shoes series comes in so many colors- it’s so cool to be able to match your school colors to your outfit with your shoes with a choice like this.
After this son picked out his shoes with school colors I thought his twin brother might also pick shoes with his school colors too (they go to different high schools but actually have similar school colors) but this twin really surprised me with his pick. This son has been wearing a lot of neutral and earthy tones lately. He chose Samba shoes in Sand Strata and they go really well with many of the outfits he’s styled. I think these will be great shoes for when we head to Japan later this summer as well because they can go with so many of his clothes. These Samba shoes are such versatile men’s sneakers because they’re not only stylish but comfortable too.
For me, I really love the shoes I picked out for myself a few weeks ago. I got myself some Kaptir Flow shoes and they are just as comfortable as I imagined. So far I’ve worn them on a few walks and runs and I can slip them on without untying the shoelaces so they are great for quick trips to the store as well as long walks and runs.
My recently shoe purchase as well as my men’s sneaker purchases launched me to adiCLUB 4 status so now I think I get free access to the Runtastic Premium club for a year and a 30% off coupon so if you shop adidas too you should definitely check out adiCLUB for free shipping and other promotions like this. The free shipping makes shopping really easy and we’ve also received a lot of discounts and even an invite to the Portland adidas Employee store.
Are you also shopping for men’s sneakers this summer for your teen? And do their styles match the styles you would pick out for them?
