I recently went to my first Seattle Mariners game of the year with friends and the day had started out so cloudy and rainy we were more than excited when the sky cleared up and we had an open roof for the game. I’m not the biggest baseball fan but I do love going to a Seattle Mariners game because the atmosphere at games are so fun. It’s one of the reasons why we ended up at a Swallows baseball game when we visited Tokyo too. I really wanted to see the Hotdogs from Heaven (it doesn’t happen at every game and it didn’t happen when we went) and also I wanted to try the ice cream nachos

Ice cream nachos at the Seattle Mariners game
You can find ice cream nachos at Mister Softee on the 1st and 3rd floors. We were in the 100 section but went to the one on the 3rd floor (because we didn’t know about the Mister Softee on the first floor yet) and ate our nachos while we watched the sunset because the ice cream would get too drippy by the time we got back to our seats. The ice cream nachos are such a fantastic idea-it’s pretty much a deconstructed sundae with soft serve vanilla, soft serve chocolate and two dipping sauces: fudge and caramel and a whole bunch of waffle cookies to scoop the ice cream and toppings like nachos. When we took the elevator down the elevator attendant pointed out the other Mister Softee on the first floor as we exited the elevator. So if you are looking for a specific food item, here is a map of all the food vendors at the Seattle Mariners games just in case it helps.
Perks for T-mobile customers at Mariners games.
If you’re going to a Seattle Mariners game and you are a T-mobile there is a special entrance with perks for T-mobile customers at games. Apparently there is also a signature drink you can purchase as a T-mobile customer (21+) that is 50% before first pitch in the T-mobile ‘Pen and it comes in a special cup too. At every Friday and Saturday home game, 4 fans who enter through the T-mobile Member entrance will be chosen to get seat upgrades and special swag too.
There are even some Mariners games you can bring your dog to
One of these days Scout is coming with us to a Mariners game because I think it’s so cool that the Mariners have these games. It sounds like there is usually about one “Bark at the Park” game a month during the baseball season and you can find more details about bringing your pup to a baseball game through the Seattle Mariners Bark at the Park link.

Special Nights you want to know about ahead of time
If you’re like me, and like the entertainment at Mariners games (like the dance offs and the salmon run too), here are a few games you might want to know about for this season too:
Friday June 13 is a Singalong Fireworks night and we play the Cleveland Guardians
July 3 and September 9th are Hello Kitty Nights (you need a special ticket to participate in this giveaway and you can find more info in the link)
August 8th is an Ichiro Jersey Night with jerseys for the first 20000 fans. The jersey is a 2004 replica jersey from the night Ichiro set the MLB single-season hit record of 262 hits
August 22nd is a drone show night. I absolutely love to see drone shows-they have become more and more spectacular every year.
Do you love going to Seattle Mariners games too? Have you tried the ice cream nachos at T-mobile Park? (Also, I totally need to see “hotdogs from heaven”-I think that would be so magical.)
Terumi Pong is a Seattle-based family travel writer and mom of twin teenage boys. She loves coffee and pastries, shopping local and looking for greener ways to live. She is also known as Scout’s mom (Scout is a 5ish pound little black yorkie-poo)
