Have you seen Barbie the Movie yet? On June 27 and 28th at Benaroya Hall in Seattle you can see Barbie the Movie: in Concert with the Seattle Symphony. And for this concert, the full-length feature film will be shown accompanied by the Seattle Symphony who will perform the music from the iconic soundtrack while being conducted by Sarah Hicks. Ticket prices begin at $35* and there are three performances to choose from (two evening and one matinee). You can purchase tickets online or at the Benaroya Hall Box Office (206-215-4747) The Box Office is open Tuesday-Friday 10am-6pm and Saturdays from 1pm-6pm. Each performance will run 2 hours 20 minutes including an intermission.
Another cool thing about these three performances is that there will be Barbie themed pre-concert activities available too. These will include things like special Barbie merchandise, some specialty cocktails and treats as well as a fun Barbie Box Photo Booth. I’m especially curious about the treats because I think these kind of things really add to an event. I also don’t totally remember the music from this movie and I think having the symphony play it live while the movie is playing will be a really unique way of seeing Barbie the Movie again. I enjoyed Barbie the Movie the first time I saw it and I’m excited to rewatch it. I think this will be a really fun evening.
