Five great stocking stuffers for 4-year olds who travel

Spread the love

One week into December and I’ve pretty much finished the bulk of my Christmas shopping.  (This is not a brag, I’m just constantly shopping and if I didn’t have a focus, it would be dangerous.)  So now I get to think about fun stocking stuffers-and just what are some fun finds for the small traveling set?

1) Globe Bank: I saw this at the Land of Nod with the duo in tow and I couldn’t pick it up then without them seeing it.  I can’t seem to find it on their website (except bundled in this giftbox) but here’s something similar and here’s another one on Amazon.

2)Goodnight Globe: of course I had to find this on Land of Nod while looking for the elusive Globe Bank and I would even want one in MY room!  (This one is going to take a little more stuffing to get into the stocking!)

3)Color Your Earth: I first saw this in a store in Portland and wish I snatched it up.  I’m so glad I found it again with two-day shipping.

4) Hungry Hungry Hippos-but the mini version.  We are finally at the fun stage where we can play real hungry hippos, candyland and High Ho Cherry-Oh.  I spied these at Bartells in Seattle and at Kohls and I think they’re so teeny and portable that we they’d be fun for family time in our hotel room after a day of adventures.

5) Le Toy Van London Bus– this one is splurgy, but I know my double decker bus lovers would love them and I’m trying to persuade the family to visit Europe so this totally helps the cause. (I also love these Djeco “Let’s Go!” stickers I found on the same Raspberry Kids site!  They really have some awesome finds!)

6) And I know I said five but then I realized I hadn’t included any books.  We have tons of airplane and train books, but this one looks very tempting(okay, truth be told, it ended up in my cart seconds ago.)  It’s a coloring book/story book that might be helpful on an upcoming airplane trip.

Happy shopping!  Now I just need to find something for the hubby.  Why on earth is he the hardest person to shop for??  (And why is it so easy to find things I love?)
