Are you going anywhere for the summer? We’re headed away to at least one soccer tournament for one of my guys and with all his gear I’m looking for a good duffle bag for him for these trips. Summer trips are fun but can be stressful if you don’t have the right kind of travel accoutrements. Are you shopping for travel accessories too?
One duffle bag I think we’ll get is the adidas lounge one. It doesn’t look like it’s specifically for soccer, it can be attached to luggage or carried alone and it’s a manageable size. I think other family members could use it for a lot of other travel too.
Another bag that would work and that feels like more of a sportier bag is the defender 5 medium bag. This bag also comes in small and large sizes. Some styles of this bag were even on sale when I was looking them up so make sure you check for sales and coupons too, especially if you are adidas adiClub.(I can’t recommend adiClub enough, it’s free and I’ve gotten a lot of discounts and I’m saving my points for something fun)
Also maybe not for my son but more for me, the “favorite” duffle bag is a little intriguing because of its purse-like shape and I am tempted to order it to see what it looks like in real life.
And of course after you search for a word enough you start to wonder where it comes from. Why do we call a duffle bag a duffle bag? From wikipedia I found out it most likely comes from the name of a town in Belgium where the cloth used to make the bag originated and the first use of the word ‘duffel bag’ was in 1768.
