Things to do in November in Seattle

Pike Place Market in November in Seattle
Spread the love

I love November because it starts off holiday season and even in October, I start to get a bunch of November notifications in my inbox. We should all sip at least a million pumpkin cream cold brews to ward off any early snow in Seattle and so far we’ve been lucky but it is suddenly a bit more chilly isn’t it?

And as for things to do in November in our city….

Harry Potter Magic at Play at the Bravern (from November until the end of January 2024)

If you are a fan of interactive experiences and Harry Potter, this one is something my family is looking forward to too. I’ll have more updates after we go but this is what I know about it so far and yes, you can already buy tickets.

Ballard Blocks: Community Donation Drive November 1-12

It is such a good thing to help our neighbors when we can and Ballard Blocks has a donation drive from November 1-12 where you can stop by between noon and 6pm to help out. This is where I shop often so I find this a really convenient way to give and Ballard Food Bank has a list of items that they really need on the website too. Ballard Blocks also has a giveaway going on during this donation drive with a daily $50 Ballard Blocks e-gift card and a grand prize that includes a $500 Ballard Blocks e-gift card so make sure you scroll to the end of this link if you want to enter for that too.

Wildlanterns at Woodland Park Zoo November 10-Jan 14 2024

Wildlanterns at Woodland Park Zoo is back again this year (I’ve included a short video ) and tickets are already on sale too. Last year Wildlanterns at the zoo sold out so make sure you get your tickets if you know when you want to go. Wildlanterns runs until January Jan 14th and it’s nice that there are quite a few days to visit-tickets would also make great experience gifts for the holidays too.

Pacific Place The Attitude is Gratitude Event on November 18th

If you’re in downtown Seattle on November 18th you can also stop in at Pacific Place from 2-4pm for a festive free activity. There will be wreath making, gratitude journals and music-all the details are in the link.

Julefest at the Nordic Museum November 18 and 19th

Another great reason to be a Nordic Museum member, you can get tickets to Julefest for free. You still need to book them online and non-members can book tickets through the site too. Julesfest is an authentic Nordic holiday experience happening in Ballard on November 18th and 19th and this is its 46th year.

Calder: In Motion at Seattle Art Museum

Calder: In Motion will be going on long beyond November but this is a good month to catch the new Calder exhibit at the same time the Hokusai exhibit is at the Seattle Art Museum too.

Magic in the Market– November 25th 2023 (this is it’s 28th anniversary!)

Magic in the Market is always such an epic and very Seattle event in the heart of our city in Pike Place Market. This year there will be free Santa photos as well as a chance to get free Pike Place Market wrapping paper if you spend $50 in the market while supplies last. You can find more details through the event link and I’m excited to be working with Pike Place Market to showcase some of the craft vendors that will be there later this season too.

**The below events are still from 2022 and hopefully will return for 2023- I’ll update as soon as I learn more**

Starbucks Re-Usable Red Cup night at the Seattle Kraken November 19th

The Kraken have a few giveaways for November at their games in Seattle. When they play the LA Kings on November 19th they will be giving away 10000 Starbucks Reusable red cups which seems like a great night to visit if you are a Starbucks fan too.

Tree Lighting at Westlake Center November 25th

This feels like it’s coming too quickly but yes, there will be a tree lighting this month and it happens on November 25th.

Do you know of any other November Seattle events?

I bet you can’t believe it’s already November either. I’ll be slowly populating this list this month and feel free to message or email if you have any events you would like me to include.

And if you are looking forward to December, here are the things you can do in Seattle in December. (if it’s still November when you look they are probably the events from last year but many will happen again around the same time.)
